Home / Research / FAQs about using a Financial Planner
Q. What does a financial planner do? I already have a broker and a lawyer.

A. A broker provides investments; a lawyer provides legal advice and can draft documents. A good financial planner will help you coordinate all of the areas of your financial life (protection, savings, and growth) and work with your broker, lawyer, accountant, and other advisors and develop the best overall strategies for you. A good planner is an essential member of your personal team.
