Advanced Business Exchange (ABX), a unit of Metro Systems Corp. (MSC), has established an online bill-paying facility with the Bank of Asia (BOA) to be located at ThailandBills.com and Thaib2b.com. The service, which is aimed at both individuals and large businesses, has captured commitments by GE Capital, furniture vendor MDEC, and computer vendor MD Online. BOA handles clearing and settlement, while ABX deals with the payment system. MSC has dedicated approximately 150 million baht to equipment. GE Capital is applying the system to allow individual customers to pay bills. Fees for the service are based on an initial payment, monthly fees, and transaction fees. ABX is working on another service with Siam Commercial Bank.
