As keynote speaker at the "Value Pricing in the New Millennium" seminar during Creative Solutions' annual user conference, CPA Ron Baker said the method of billing hourly is out of date in the new economy, and he provided advice for a new billing model of value pricing. Baker said, "Accountants should set a price up front, bundle all the services accounting firms can offer together, and offer a 100 percent guarantee." This method, Baker said, will get accountants a higher price.
