According to the CCH Accountants on the Internet 2000
poll, conducted by Harris Interactive, accountants use the
Internet for a variety of reasons, including checking and sending
email, performing professional research, downloading software and
demos, reading business news, finding research services and
products, and making professional purchases. The poll found that
96 percent of accountants have Internet access, almost all of
whom use the access weekly, while 59 percent take advantage of
this access daily.
